Around 10:00–11:00 AM, you’ll be picked up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transferred to the Mekong Princess at Saigon Port. After embarkation and a safety briefing, enjoy lunch while cruising through the Saigon, Soai Rap, Nuoc Man, Vam Co, and Cho Gao waterways. Settle your suite and watch the changing scenery along the river. In the evening, anchor in the Mekong Delta, sip cocktails at sunset, and enjoy a Vietnamese à la carte dinner onboard.
Begin the day with a sampan ride through mangrove-lined canals, visit a coconut candy workshop, then walk through a fruit orchard and take a small boat through narrow creeks. In the afternoon, sail toward Can Tho. Visit Chua Ong Pagoda and enjoy a unicorn dance show. The ship docks overnight in Can Tho. Early morning, visit Cai Rang Floating Market, where boats trade fresh produce. Sample fruit and coconut water, then visit a local noodle factory. After lunch, explore Hoa An village by motor cart and sampan. Visit rice fields, fruit orchards, and observe rice milling operations. End the visit at a family home making conical hats, where you can try hands-on crafting. The ship anchors near Gieng Island.
In the morning, take a sampan to Gieng Island, visit a sampan-making village, cruise past mango gardens, and ride a xe lôi to Phanxico Monastery. In the afternoon, explore Hong Ngu village near the Vietnam–Cambodia border, known for weaving traditional Khmer scarves and embroidery. Also visit the Hoa Hao temple. Onboard activity: Vietnamese cooking class demonstration. Ship proceeds to the border.
Arrive in Phnom Penh after clearing immigration. Enjoy a cyclo tour to the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and National Museum, exploring Cambodia’s royal heritage and ancient artifacts. Onboard activities: Fruit carving demo and lecture on Cambodia’s geography and Mekong life. Dock overnight in Phnom Penh.
Take a guided trip to the Choeung Ek Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Prison (S-21), learning about Cambodia’s tragic past under the Khmer Rouge. Afternoon is free for your own exploration. In the evening, enjoy an onboard Apsara and folk dance performance. Ship remains in Phnom Penh overnight.
Sail to Angkor Ban and visit a traditional village. Receive a monk’s blessing at a pagoda, visit a local home, and stop by the village school to meet children and observe their daily life. Sail onward and dock overnight in Kampong Cham.
Enjoy your final breakfast onboard before disembarking in Kampong Cham. Transfer by motor-coach to your hotel in Siem Reap, arriving around noon.
